The dominant news coverage in North America has turned the ‘Black Lives Matter’ Movement into a dichotomy. One can read sources supportive of the police or ones supportive of the movement. There is no in between. This has created echo chambers of information where people only hear the arguments and support for their side. This creates a world in which conversation and compromise is no longer possible.
